A robust, produced in European Union (Poland) transformer soldering iron by TEX in its original packaging. The design of the device and the materials used ensure high reliability. The transformer has copper windings. The soldering iron is switched on using a durable micro-switch. The working field is illuminated by an LED, which, unlike traditional incandescent bulbs, has a practically unlimited service life.

Selectable power 100 / 150 W The two available power settings enable the user to select the appropriate tip temperature depending on the work to be done. High power enables to solder components that dissipate heat quickly. When soldering smaller components, power can be reduced to limit the risk of overheating. By inserting a long and thin tip, the power of the soldering iron can be further reduced.

The soldering iron is used for joining metal parts using tin. The selection of 100 W or 150 W power makes it the ideal piece of workshop equipment. It is ideal for model-making tasks and the assembly of small electrotechnical components. It is also suitable for the soldering of electronic components and cables. Both lead-free tin and traditional tin-lead solders can be used.
