Lead-free solder for copper plumbing ø2 mm.

Lead-free Sn97Cu3 solder for water and central heating systems. With the use of AlumWeld Flux, it allows the soldering of aluminium. Material complies with ISO 9453:2014 and the RoHS2 directive. Spool contains 100 g of ø2 mm diameter wire.

Alloy composition:

  • tin: remainder,
  • copper: 2,5-3,5%,
  • impurity content in accordance with ISO 9453:2014.

Parameters:

  • melting point (solidus): 227 °C,
  • melting point (liquidus): 310 °C,
  • electrical conductivity: 0,118 μΩm,
  • specific gravity: 7,32 g/cm3.

The alloy is produced from high-purity raw materials (first melt). Smelting in a continuous casting process, without air access, produces a high quality binder with no oxide content in the alloy. This results in fewer soldering defects.
