The two available wattages allow the user to select the appropriate tip temperature depending on the work to be performed. With 75 W, you can solder larger components that dissipate heat quickly (e.g. the ground surface on a circuit board). At 45 W, small components can be soldered without the risk of overheating.

By installing a long and thin tip, the power of the soldering iron can be further reduced.

The transformer has copper windings and a reliable micro-switch is used to switch on the soldering iron.
