High fluidity filler metal with flux in the core for soldering aluminium and its alloys.

AlumWeld Core LQ is a filler metal for aluminium soldering with a non-corrosive flux. Due to the flux content it wets the aluminium and fills the gaps very well. Low melting point and high fluidity significantly facilitates soldering. The package contains 1 m of flux-cored solder with a diameter of 2 mm.

Excellent soldering of:

  • aluminium and its alloys,
  • copper,
  • brass,
  • bronze,
  • steel,
  • stainless steel.
  • Soldering temperature 420 °C.
  • High strength.
  • Easy to machine.
  • Good thermal and electrical conductivity.
  • Corrosion resistance.

Fields of application

The solder is perfectly suited for soldering all aluminium components and structures, as well as for repairing radiators and air-conditioning systems. Using a mould (e.g. made of clay), it is possible to make castings and fill larger cavities.

Soldering is very simple. It successfully replaces welding, especially when the use of a welder is not possible. Connections are made with an ordinary torch, e.g. propane-butane. Simply heat up the object to be brazed, apply AlumWeld filler metal so that it melts from its heat, place the joint and leave it to cool down.
